Dear Potential Santa Claus Anonymous Beneficiary:

It is our pleasure to invite you to apply to be a Santa Claus Anonymous Beneficiary for the Year 2010 – the 24th Annual SnowBall.

Our all-volunteer organization has had the distinct honor to contribute to hundreds of children’s lives through our annual donations generated from the SnowBall and other SCA events. These donations have been used to fund youth programs that have a positive impact on the development of disadvantaged youth in the greater Boston and foster social and character development. The majority of the programs that SCA supports are non-federally funded and also do not receive United Way funding; in many cases, the funding that SCA contributes enables organizations to provide programs that would not otherwise be possible.

Continuing with this tradition, Santa Claus Anonymous will present SnowBall 2010 on Friday, December 3rd at the Boston Park Plaza.

Our goal is to judiciously allocate monies raised through the SnowBall as well as nurture and enhance a year-round relationship with the selected beneficiary organizations. Although we would love to contribute to all youth organizations that have requested funding, we realize that over time many of our organizational friends out-grow the need for SCA funding and it is time to consider requests from new organizations. As in past years, we will be conducting a thorough review of all past beneficiaries and new applicants. Please complete the attached application and return it to the address below no later than August 9, 2010 in order to be considered for the position of a 2010 SCA Beneficiary. Late applications will not be accepted.

After receipt of your application SCA will assign an ambassador to your organization to liaise with you on the process of being a beneficiary, such as clarifying questions about your application for the Beneficiary Committee, and if selected, collecting posters that represent your program to be displayed at the Black Diamond reception of the SnowBall.
